The beauty world is abuzz with excitement as Hailey Bieber’s new skincare brand, Rhode, has finally hit the shelves. In recent years, the model and entrepreneur has become known for her radiant, glowing skin and dedication to a healthy lifestyle. Now, she’s sharing her skincare secrets with the world through Rhode. In this article, we’ll dive deep into the ethos behind the brand and explore some of its top products.
Hailey shared on Instagram in April that Rhode would be arriving in June 2022, stating ” @rhode is getting closer by the day… visit rhodeskin.com next month to see for yourself ✨🤍,” in the post’s caption.
Rhode offers a range of skin care products, including the Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream, and Peptide Lip Treatment, which were part of the initial launch. The Peptide Glazing Fluid is ideal for achieving Hailey’s signature glazed donut skin look, containing niacinamide, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and marula oil to plump and reduce wrinkles, brighten and even skin texture, and replenish and hydrate skin.
The Barrier Restore Cream‘s key ingredients are shea butter and squalane, which hydrate and soothe redness and irritation in the skin barrier. It also contains niacinamide and peptides for extra plumpness. To achieve pillowy soft lips, Hailey recommends the Peptide Lip Treatment, available in “Unscented,” “Watermelon Slice,” and “Salted Caramel” flavors. This thick balm includes hydrating shea butter and peptides for a supple, full lip look.
Hailey emphasized in an interview with Allure that the line prioritizes hydration and moisture, and that the products are affordable and solidly formulated. All products in the line are priced under $30, and have received positive feedback from makeup artists who have tried them on their clients.
At the moment, it is uncertain if Rhode products will be available for purchase in physical stores such as Sephora or ULTA Beauty, following the example of brands like R.E.M Beauty by Ariana Grande or Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. Currently, it appears that all Rhode products will only be available for online shopping.
