Arianee, a leading platform specializing in digital product certification, has successfully raised €20 million in its recent Series A funding round. The funding was led by Tiger Global, a prominent investment fund with a strong track record in the fashion and luxury sector. Other new investors, including Commerce Ventures and Motier Ventures fund, also participated in the round. Notably, Pierre Denis, the former CEO of Jimmy Choo, joined as an investor as well.

This new capital infusion will enable Arianee to further strengthen its operations, particularly in New York. Prior to this round, the company had already secured €8 million in funding in March 2021. Arianee also received continued support from its existing investors, which include Bpifrance, Isai, Cygni Labs, and Noia Capital.

Tiger Global’s entry into Arianee’s capital demonstrates the company’s potential and attractiveness in the market. The investment fund has a history of backing successful ventures, such as Vestiaire Collective, Goat Brand Labs, and Flipkart, among others. Arianee is thrilled to have the support and trust of influential investors like Tiger Global, as well as its existing partners.

Speaking about the funding, Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel, CEO and co-founder of Arianee, expressed his excitement about the growth of Web3 and its potential for brands to regain control of their digital presence. He also emphasized the importance of building tools and interfaces that cater to all users, ensuring a seamless transition between physical, digital, and immersive environments.

Arianee operates as part of an association of brands established under the French Act of 1901. The company leverages blockchain technology to create digital passports known as NFTs, which authenticate physical products. These NFTs play a crucial role in proving the authenticity of products in the second-hand market. By utilizing blockchain technology, Arianee ensures a secure and decentralized system that is independent of major tech giants like Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon.

Arianee has formed strategic partnerships with key players in the fashion and luxury industry, including Richemont, Printemps, Breitling, Vacheron Constantin, and Paris Fashion Week. The company has also collaborated with industry giants like IBM and The Sandbox metaverse, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the digital certification space.

The Arianee project was launched in 2018, and in 2020, the company deployed its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to enhance its digital certification system. Last year, Arianee announced a partnership with Emakina, a specialist European agency in user experience management. Together, they aim to improve the certification process and provide seamless experiences for users.

With the recent €20 million funding and the support of reputable investors, Arianee is well-equipped to drive innovation in digital product certification. The company’s mission is to empower brands to amplify their digital presence, ensuring trust and authenticity for their products. With its robust technology and industry partnerships, Arianee is set to revolutionize the way brands interact with their customers in the digital landscape.
