ASOS, the leading fashion e-tailer, has announced its plans to invest £14 million in a new Tech Hub in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This investment will lead to the creation of 184 new jobs over the course of the next three years. The Tech Hub is expected to be operational by early 2022, with 52 dedicated positions planned for its first year. This number is projected to reach 184 by 2024, and ASOS is currently in the process of recruiting individuals for engineering and data science roles.

The establishment of this Tech Hub aligns with ASOS’s broader strategic plans to support its ongoing growth. The company aims to enhance its technology capabilities, and the Belfast hub will provide cutting-edge tech expertise to drive future expansion. Invest Northern Ireland has provided nearly £1.2 million in support for the creation of new software engineering roles. Additionally, The Department for the Economy is funding pre-employment Assured Skills Academy training, investing almost £1 million over the course of three years.
