Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga has recently moved its teams to new premises in Paris to accommodate its growing business. After achieving sales of €1 billion in 2021, the brand required more space to operate effectively. Formerly located at 40 rue de Sèvres, in the former Laennec hospital, Balenciaga has now relocated to a spacious 3,850 square meter building at 16-18 rue Vaneau in the 7th arrondissement of Paris.

The newly renovated premises, which cost 16.5 million euros, span across five floors and offer various facilities such as offices, meeting rooms, and a cafeteria. The building, conveniently situated near the Hôtel de Matignon (French prime minister’s residence), was previously occupied by the prime minister’s administrative and financial services.

The architectural firm DTACC undertook the renovation project, enlarging the spaces, incorporating light wells, and transforming the roof into a lush green terrace that boasts stunning panoramic views of the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. Furthermore, the gardens and interior courtyard were also enhanced during the renovation process.

While some of Balenciaga’s teams have already transitioned to the new offices, others are still operating from the Laennec premises. This expansion and upgrade demonstrate Balenciaga’s commitment to sustaining its success and driving further growth within the fashion industry.
