Under the leadership of president and majority shareholder Sandro Veronesi, Calzedonia has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, largely driven by strategic acquisitions. To better capture the diversity and independence of its individual brands, the decision was made to adopt a new name that represents the group as a whole.

Oniverse, which is an anagram of Veronesi’s surname, is the parent company that owns and operates several renowned brands, including Intimissimi, Tezenis, Falconeri, Atelier Emé, and Signorvino, the Italian winery chain. Additionally, the group has expanded its portfolio in recent times with the addition of Italian label Antonio Marras and luxury yacht builder Cantiere del Pardo.

The rebranding from Calzedonia to Oniverse represents a new chapter for the group, highlighting its growth and diverse range of offerings. Founded in Verona, Italy in 1986, the company has achieved remarkable success, boasting a revenue of €3 billion in 2022. Its products are sold through more than 5,300 monobrand stores in 56 countries.

Oniverse’s accomplishments and potential on the stock market have also been recognized, as it was ranked first by consulting firm Pambianco in its 2023 ranking of Italian fashion groups. This prestigious accolade places Oniverse ahead of esteemed brands such as Armani and Golden Goose.
