Classic Football Shirts, a business based in Greater Manchester, has been announced as the major sponsor for Burnley Football Club for the upcoming 2022/23 season. This partnership is significant for Burnley FC as it marks the first time in the club’s history that all teams, including the men, women, and academy teams, will share a front-of-shirt sponsor.

The new home shirt, inspired by Burnley FC’s 1991/92 title-winning season, aims to capture the attention of fans who appreciate trendy and nostalgic designs. Classic Football Shirts’ collaboration with Burnley FC is a reflection of the company’s recent success, with a substantial increase in turnover and profits. Documents reveal that the company’s turnover rose from £11.9 million to £18.2 million, and pre-tax profits increased from £1.3 million to £3.8 million during the latest financial year.

The founders of Classic Football Shirts, Matthew Dale and Doug Bierton, expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership and their desire to make a lasting impact on the local community and football as a whole. Burnley FC chairman, Alan Pace, also expressed his delight in continuing the successful relationship with the company. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the home kit featuring Classic Football Shirts’ branding online and at the Clarets Store starting from July 29th. The men’s first team will debut the kit during their opening game of the Championship season against Huddersfield Town on the same day.
