Decathlon’s football brand, Kipsta, has recently achieved a major accomplishment by securing a valuable deal with UEFA, the governing body for European football. Starting from 2024 until 2027, Decathlon will become the official football supplier for UEFA’s Europa League and Conference League competitions, taking over from the previous supplier, Molten.

In 2022, Decathlon made its foray into the market by supplying match balls to France’s top two football leagues, Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT. They expanded their reach in the following year by providing match balls to Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. Although the specific models of footballs to be utilized in UEFA competitions have not yet been disclosed by Kipsta, the brand has emphasized the superior quality of its products.
