ESW, an e-commerce specialist based in Dublin, has seen significant sales and growth even amidst challenges posed by the pandemic and Brexit. The company recently announced its intention to hire an additional 500 staff and projects revenues of $1.5 billion this year, a remarkable increase from just five years ago. Looking ahead, ESW aims to achieve revenues of $5 billion within the next three to five years, while also expanding its workforce to over 1,100 employees.

ESW credits its success to collaborations with over 20 new global brands, including renowned names like Gucci, Kering, EBEL, Olivia Burton, The Irish Store, Rossignol, Abercrombie & Fitch, and J.Crew. Specializing in managing direct-to-consumer channels for a range of industries such as apparel, footwear, leisure, cosmetics, accessories, and luxury goods, ESW is poised for continued growth through organic expansion in emerging markets and strategic acquisitions. The company has capitalized on the global shift towards e-commerce, which has provided a favorable environment for its business.

As part of its expansion strategy, ESW aims to develop tailored solutions for the Apparel & Accessories, Beauty and Cosmetics, and Luxury categories. The company has already diversified its product portfolio to meet market demands, offering solutions ranging from basic integration to comprehensive enterprise DTC solutions, including online store design, build, and day-to-day management.

To support its expanded portfolio and continued growth in the UK and France, ESW has made key appointments. Noelle Burke has been named Chief People Officer, while Natashia Redfern, with expertise in logistics e-commerce, has become the Director of Sales UK. Furthermore, Thomas Rouland and Jerome Duclos, both boasting extensive industry experience in checkout and payments, have been appointed as Sales Directors in France.

ESW remains an independent business despite being fully acquired by Asendia earlier this year. Asendia, a joint venture between La Poste Group and Swiss Post, recognizes the potential of ESW’s strong sales and ambitious growth plans. With the rising demand for cross-border e-commerce, ESW is well-positioned to solidify its position as a leading player in the industry.
