French children’s fashion specialist Children Worldwide Fashion (CWF) has recently secured a €140 million reinvestment from its current shareholders, Arkéa Capital, Raise Investissement, and Dzeta Group. This capital injection will play a crucial role in optimizing CWF’s distribution model, accelerating its development through online and international sales platforms, and incorporating new brands into its portfolio.

CWF boasts an impressive collection of thirteen children’s licenses, including renowned brands like Givenchy, Chloé, Kenzo Kids, Timberland, and Michael Kors. In addition to these collaborations, CWF also owns two successful brands of its own, Billie Blush and Carrément Beau. Recently, they acquired the Sonia Rykiel children’s license from G-III and the Hugo license from Hugo Boss, further expanding their already diverse range of offerings.

With a presence in 80 countries and a staggering 2,200 points of sale, which include department stores, pure players, and Kids around boutiques, CWF achieved a remarkable turnover of €284 million in 2022. In order to explore new avenues and concepts, CWF is also experimenting with boutique concepts, such as its inaugural shop exclusively dedicated to accessories, conveniently located in Disneyland Paris Village.

To enhance their success even further, CWF has appointed Alain Pourcelot, a seasoned executive with experience at Adidas and Alain Afflelou, as the new chairman. He will be working closely with Freddy Mallet, the former chairman who remains a significant shareholder and now assumes the role of chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Pascal Leblanc, the managing director.

With this substantial financial reinforcement, CWF is well-positioned to solidify its position in the global children’s fashion market. Their expansion and brand integration strategies, along with their comprehensive portfolio of established and sought-after brands, ensure that they can effectively cater to the ever-evolving preferences and needs of young consumers worldwide.
