From Future, the disruptive fashion brand founded by Pauline and Thomas de Hesdin in 2018, is making waves once again with its expansion into the denim market. Known for its competitive prices and vibrant color palette, the brand initially gained recognition in the cashmere industry. Now, they are venturing into denim with their newest collection, which is made from recycled cotton.

The denim collection offers a variety of styles to cater to both men and women. For women, there are three jean styles available – straight, slim, and bootcut – priced at €110. Men can choose from three styles – straight, loose, and slim – priced at €120. Additionally, the collection includes a pair of shorts priced at €69. The line also offers jackets with embroidered patterns starting from €159, colorful jeans in bright yellow, lilac, pink, and green priced at €125, and a denim skirt available in three different washes priced at €60.

Sustainability was a key focus for From Future when creating this collection. The jeans are made from a combination of 74% cotton, 25% recycled cotton, and 1% elastane, which is derived from fabric scraps. Furthermore, the dyeing process utilized an eco-friendly washing method, resulting in significant reductions in water, energy, and chemical consumption.

In addition to their entry into the denim market, From Future has other exciting product segments in development. They will be introducing a collection of swimsuits made from recycled polyamide in vibrant colors and adding new additions to their menswear line, including shirts made from viscose and colorful cotton poplin. Accessories, such as recycled cotton bucket hats and stylish socks, will also be launching this summer.

What sets From Future apart from its competitors is its unique business model. By eliminating intermediaries and relying heavily on digital technology, the brand has established its own online website and a flagship store on Rue de Rennes in Paris. They have further expanded to include five directly operated boutiques in Paris and Saint-Tropez, as well as menswear and womenswear corners in prestigious department stores like Galeries Lafayette Haussmann and Bon Marché.

But From Future’s expansion does not stop there. Plans are already underway to open two new stores in Paris in the next quarter, followed by two to three stores in major French cities by the end of the year. The brand is also eyeing international expansion, staying committed to maintaining full control of its distribution and not partnering with any retailers.

With its innovative approach, focus on sustainability, and expanding product range, From Future is set to continue reshaping the fashion industry and captivating consumers with its unique offerings.
