Greg Pateras, the former CEO of Frasers Group’s fashion division, has recently left the company after successfully integrating two acquired brands. Pateras played a pivotal role in repositioning Manchester-based brands Misguided and I Saw It First, with a focus on future profitability. He also oversaw the merger of the two brands and their integration into the broader Frasers Group platform, as well as the relocation of their head office.

In a reflection on his time at Frasers Group, Pateras expressed gratitude for his talented team and their accomplishments, including a sale, restructuring, and merger. Prior to joining Frasers Group, Pateras served as the CEO of I Saw It First before it was acquired. He also held key positions at Matalan and The Very Group.

Frasers Group acquired Misguided in an administration sale one year ago, followed by the purchase of I Saw It First. Recognizing Pateras’ expertise in online fashion, the company decided to retain him and entrusted him with overseeing Misguided alongside his existing responsibilities. As a result, Misguided products are now available through another Frasers Group retailer, House of Fraser, both in-store and online. Similarly, I Saw It First can be found on the House of Fraser webstore.

The company’s commitment to growth is evident through its continued exploration of acquisition opportunities. In addition to Misguided and I Saw It First, Frasers Group has acquired Gieves & Hawkes, MySale, and Sneakerboy, as well as various fashion brands from JD Sports. Additionally, the company has increased its holdings in Hugo Boss, acquired a stake in N Brown, and steadily increased its stake in ASOS.

With Pateras’ departure, Frasers Group will now begin the search for a replacement who can maintain the momentum and drive further growth within the fashion division.
