Guy Laroche, a renowned high fashion house, has recently entered into a license agreement with Rodolfo Zengarini, a company known for its shoe designs for John Galliano. This agreement entails the production and distribution of shoes and handbags for both men and women under the Guy Laroche brand.

The exact duration of the agreement has not been disclosed, but the fruits of this partnership will be displayed in the upcoming spring-summer 2023 collection. This collection will be unveiled at the esteemed MICAM shoe fair, which is scheduled to take place in Milan from September 18 to 20.

The shoe collection will encompass contemporary renditions of Guy Laroche’s most iconic models, along with some unisex sports pieces available in a variety of colors. Similarly, the bag line will offer a diverse range of options, including tote bags, clutches, “hobo” bags, and backpacks.

Back in 2004, Hong Kong-based company Ygm Trading Ltd acquired Guy Laroche, which was originally founded in 1957. In 2017, the brand appointed Richard René from France as its creative director. This recent licensing agreement with Rodolfo Zengarini will enable Guy Laroche to expand its market presence and provide customers with a wider array of accessories.

The collections resulting from this collaboration will be distributed through Rodolfo Zengarini’s showrooms located in Milan, New York, Paris, Antwerp, and Dubai. This strategic move ensures that Guy Laroche reaches a global audience and solidifies its position as a prominent player in the fashion industry.
