Hugo Boss, the renowned German fashion giant, is taking significant strides to strengthen its online presence by extending its webstore to 12 new markets. The company, in which Britain’s Frasers Group has a major stake, has recently launched in countries such as Bahrain, Egypt, Estonia, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Oman, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. This expansion brings the total number of online markets for Hugo Boss to an impressive 59, showcasing the brand’s dedication to catering to the global demand for online shopping.

As a strategic move, Hugo Boss had already made a foray into the online market by launching 32 new national webstores last year. This decision proved to be extremely fruitful as the company achieved online sales totaling over €200 million for the first time in its history. Now, with the addition of these 12 new markets, Hugo Boss has set its sights even higher, aiming to surpass €300 million in online sales by the end of the current financial year, and ultimately reaching a staggering €400 million by 2022.

Matthew Dean, the Director Global E-Commerce at Hugo Boss, expressed confidence in the brand’s online growth trajectory, stating, “The investments in our online business are paying off and our momentum keeps building.” He further emphasized that expanding the e-commerce network globally is the logical next step, considering the changing shopping habits of customers, which increasingly favor online channels. Dean firmly believes that the gradual expansion of Hugo Boss’s online business will continue to captivate customers worldwide with their distinctive brand offerings.

This strategic move by Hugo Boss underscores the brand’s commitment to meeting the evolving preferences of its global customer base. By embracing the trend towards online shopping and expanding its webstore presence, Hugo Boss aims to capture a larger market share in the digital fashion realm. With its rich heritage and reputation for uncompromising quality, the brand is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for fashion products in the digital sphere. As online shopping continues to thrive, it becomes crucial for fashion retailers like Hugo Boss to adapt and provide a seamless and enjoyable online shopping experience for customers worldwide.
