Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer at Niood, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  2. Collaborating with data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts to understand their data requirements and ensure that the data infrastructure meets their needs.
  3. Implementing data transformation and enrichment processes to prepare data for analysis and machine learning purposes.
  4. Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data through data validation, cleaning, and monitoring.
  5. Optimizing data storage and processing solutions for performance, cost, and maintainability.
  6. Developing and implementing data governance policies and best practices to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering technologies, tools, and techniques, and actively exploring opportunities to improve the existing data infrastructure.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Data Engineer position at Niood, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering, including hands-on experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
  3. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or another relevant programming language.
  4. Experience with data integration and ETL tools, such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
  5. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
