John Lewis and Superdrug are ahead of the game this year by launching their Black Friday offers early. In anticipation of the holiday season, John Lewis has responded to its own report, which reveals that consumers start preparing for Christmas as early as November. According to the report, the average person begins their holiday shopping on November 10th, well before Black Friday. In light of this, John Lewis has planned to release “hundreds of fantastic deals” throughout the entire month to assist customers in spreading the cost of Christmas. These deals will be available both in stores and online, encompassing categories such as home, fashion, and beauty. Well-known brands like Marc Jacobs and Gucci will see reduced prices for a limited time. One noteworthy offer is 20% off selected fragrances from Gucci, Marc Jacobs, D&G, Jimmy Choo, Mugler, and Ariana Grande. Naomi Simcock, Executive Director at John Lewis, claims that the retailer is revolutionizing the Black Friday experience, stating that the idea of it being a mere one-weekend event is outdated.

Similarly, Superdrug has also seized the opportunity to launch its Black Friday offers, recognizing the desire of shoppers to distribute their Christmas spending. The company is providing exclusive early deals to all Health & Beautycard members. The deals, with discounts ranging from 50-69%, cover a variety of makeup, fragrance, haircare, and appliance brands. Simon Comins, Chief Commercial Officer at Superdrug, has emphasized their commitment to offering customers the best deals for as long as possible. They have pledged to run their Black Friday offers for four weeks, starting on November 1st for Health & Beautycard members, and then making the offers available to everyone on November 15th. The objective is to assist shoppers in maximizing their festive budgets and delighting their loved ones this Christmas.
