Private equity investor Aurelius Group is reportedly in discussions to acquire The Body Shop, a popular beauty products chain. The company’s current owner, Natura & Co, has decided to sell The Body Shop, prompting the potential deal. While media reports suggest a valuation of £400 million to £500 million ($485.20 million-$606.50 million), it is expected that the final price will be lower.

Natura, a Brazilian cosmetics maker, announced in August that it was exploring “strategic alternatives” for The Body Shop, including a possible sale. The decision came after Natura acquired The Body Shop from L’Oreal in 2017.

However, both Natura and Aurelius have chosen to remain silent regarding these discussions, declining to comment on the matter. Similarly, The Body Shop has not responded to requests for comment. The news first surfaced through a report by Sky News.
