The financial details and percentage of the investment have not been disclosed. The partnership aims to maximize the global potential of r.e.m. beauty by focusing on product innovation, talent acquisition, and entering new markets to meet the increasing demand.

Leading the investment round, Sandbridge Capital exclusively partners with high-growth global brands. Other participants in the investment include Strand Equity and Grande’s longstanding collaborators, HYBE America, Live Nation Entertainment, and Universal Music Group.

Earlier this year, Grande regained control of her beauty label, which is almost two years old. The brand offers a range of color cosmetics, treatment, and complexion products and prides itself on being clean, vegan, inclusive, and cruelty-free. It recently earned certification from PETA. Currently, r.e.m. beauty is available through its own webstore and is exclusively distributed in the US through Ulta Beauty, in Europe through Sephora, and in the UK through Selfridges. The brand plans to focus on its core markets but will announce further expansion plans in the future.

Grande sees this investment as a new era for the brand, while Michelle Shigemasa, the recently-appointed CEO of r.e.m. beauty, highlights the opportunities presented by the partnership with Sandbridge.
