Scalpers, the Spanish fashion label, has announced a significant surge in sales for the year 2023. The company experienced a remarkable growth rate of 31.5%, resulting in total sales of €200 million, compared to €152 million in the previous year. This remarkable increase in sales can be largely attributed to the brand’s online channel, which saw a 30% surge and now accounts for 23% of total sales.

Scalpers has gained momentum through its own international website and by offering its products on various popular online marketplaces, such as Zalando, Asos, El Corte Inglés, La Redoute, Privalia, and About You. These platforms have played a critical role in the brand’s success by helping it reach a wider customer base.

Currently, Scalpers has a presence in seven countries, with a total of 333 points of sale. This includes standalone stores as well as corners within El Corte Inglés and Palacio de Hierro in Mexico. In line with its commitment to job creation, the company employs over 1400 individuals directly.

In an effort to further enhance its presence, Scalpers opened two new flagship stores in Madrid and Seville in 2023. These stores follow a new format that prioritizes larger spaces in prime locations within the cities. This strategic move aims to increase the brand’s visibility and attract more customers.

Scalpers Woman, the brand’s women’s line, has also witnessed notable growth, contributing to 25% of the company’s sales in 2023. The line has a total of 146 standalone or shared points of sale with other business lines, indicating the brand’s ability to diversify and appeal to different market segments.

Additionally, Scalpers operates Invited Brands, a marketplace where it sells products from other brands on its website. This platform now offers over 150 labels, both domestic and international, and has physical points of sale in the new flagship stores in Madrid and Seville. This expansion highlights Scalpers’ dedication to providing a diverse range of products to its customers.

Looking ahead to 2024, Scalpers remains positive about its prospects in both the Spanish and international markets. The brand is particularly focused on its growth in Portugal, where it witnessed a 22% increase in business and currently boasts 15 points of sale. Scalpers has also experienced success in Mexico, with 23 points of sale and a growth rate of 41%. Additionally, the brand’s presence in Chile saw a substantial growth rate of 26%.

Furthermore, Scalpers is strengthening its foothold in Europe by collaborating with international partners in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium. These partnerships aim to expand the brand’s reach and amplify its presence in key European markets.

With its rapid growth and strategic initiatives, Scalpers continues to solidify its position as a prominent fashion label in Spain and beyond. The company’s emphasis on online sales, expansion of physical stores, and diversification of product offerings have proven to be successful strategies. Entering the future, Scalpers remains committed to delivering high-quality fashion products to its customers while pursuing further growth and expansion opportunities.
