Stella McCartney and LVMH have unveiled their latest venture in their ongoing partnership – a new skincare brand called Stella. This exciting line is set to be launched in September and aims to revolutionize luxury skincare by offering consumers a more sustainable and conscious option. The collaboration between McCartney and LVMH’s Beauty division has resulted in a collection of products that are not only vegan and cruelty-free but also made with at least 99% natural ingredients.

The philosophy behind Stella skincare is centered around simplicity – using “only what you need”. As a result, the line features just three essential products: Reset Cleanser, Alter-Care Serum, and Restore Cream. These products have been carefully developed in collaboration with LVMH Recherche, the beauty group’s research and development unit. The goal was to create formulations that work in harmony with the skin and support its natural functions of regeneration and protection.

In addition to conscious ingredients, Stella skincare also focuses on minimizing its environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle of the products. This includes sustainable packaging and the option of eco-conscious refills. What sets Stella skincare apart is its unique scent, High Cliff, which was created in partnership with renowned perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Antoine Arnault, son of LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, expressed his excitement for the collaboration, saying, “I am delighted that Stella McCartney, after pioneering sustainable and responsible luxury fashion, is now partnering with LVMH, committed to changing the codes of cosmetics, packaging, and ingredients.” McCartney echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the team’s dedication to creating a skincare line that is not only effective but also rooted in nature and responsibility.

Consumers will have the opportunity to purchase Stella skincare products on the Stella McCartney Beauty website, as well as at the designer’s flagship store on Bond Street in London and select UK retailers and boutiques. Additionally, one percent of net sales will be donated to the conservation NGO Wetlands International, further showcasing the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Overall, the launch of Stella skincare represents a significant milestone in the ongoing partnership between Stella McCartney and LVMH. Together, they are redefining the boundaries of luxury and sustainability in both the fashion and beauty industries. By offering a conscious alternative to traditional skincare, Stella aims to empower consumers to make more responsible choices for themselves and the environment.
