Superdrug, one of the UK’s leading health and beauty retailers, is set to launch a new VIP Rewards app as part of its loyalty program. With the Christmas trading period becoming increasingly competitive, Superdrug hopes that the app will attract more customers and encourage them to spend more with the brand.

The VIP Rewards app will offer exclusive discounts and rewards to Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard customers, whether they shop in-store or online. To become a VIP member, customers will need to spend a total of £300, and in return, they will enjoy a range of benefits for 12 months. These benefits include a 20% discount on own-brand products and free delivery. Additional surprises and rewards will also be given to VIP members throughout the year.

Existing members of Superdrug’s Health and Beautycard app and will automatically be enrolled in the VIP Rewards scheme if they log in after 25 October. This means that over 150,000 Superdrug customers will instantly qualify as VIP members and receive the benefits once they go live. The rewards can be used alongside other offers, giving customers even more savings.

By launching this app-based loyalty scheme, Superdrug aims to provide customers with useful offers that can be enjoyed for a substantial amount of time. The brand wants to move away from physical loyalty cards and instead provide a more convenient and accessible way for customers to earn rewards.

As Superdrug gears up for a highly competitive Christmas trading period, the VIP Rewards app is expected to play a key role in attracting more customers and encouraging them to spend more with the brand. With personalized offers and a user-friendly app, Superdrug hopes to enhance customer loyalty and provide a rewarding shopping experience both in-store and online.
