Dua Lipa was born on August 22, 1995, in London, England. Her parents emigrated from Kosovo in the early 1990s, before she was born. Her father, Dukagjin Lipa, was a musician and frequently played in pubs in London. Her mother, Anesa Lipa, had a job in tourism. Being exposed to music from a young age, she showed a keen interest in singing and performing.
