Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, also known as the Olsen twins, were born on June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks, California. They are fraternal twins and they have an older brother named Trent Olsen. From a young age, Mary-Kate and Ashley began acting in various television shows and movies. They were cast as the character of Michelle Tanner in the hit TV show “Full House” when they were just nine months old.
As they grew up, Mary-Kate and Ashley continued to act in various movies and TV shows while also launching their own fashion and beauty brands. They started a company called Dualstar Entertainment in 1993, which produced movies, TV shows, and merchandise featuring the Olsen twins. Among their most popular films were the “It Takes Two” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.”
