Molly Goddard was born in London in 1988. She grew up in the city and developed a love for fashion at a young age. Her mother was a textile designer, and Molly often went with her to fabric shops and fashion exhibitions. She knew from an early age that she wanted to be a fashion designer.

Molly studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London.
