Virgil Abloh is an American fashion designer, DJ, and founder of the streetwear brand Off-White. Born in Rockford, Illinois, in 1980, Abloh studied civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before pursuing a master’s degree in architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

After completing his studies, Abloh worked briefly as an architectural designer before transitioning into the fashion industry. He began his fashion career as an intern at Fendi, where he worked alongside Kanye West. In 2012, Abloh and West launched their fashion label, Pyrex Vision, which quickly gained a following among streetwear enthusiasts.

In 2013, Abloh founded Off-White, a luxury streetwear label that has collaborated with brands including Nike, Levi’s, and Moncler.
