Thom Browne, the renowned New York-based designer known for his timeless schoolboy uniform style, has officially debuted his childrenswear line. This new collection offers miniature renditions of the brand’s iconic pieces, including fitted blazers, button-down shirts, ties, trousers, skirts, knee socks, brogues, and penny loafers. Staying true to Thom Browne’s signature aesthetic and dedication to impeccable craftsmanship, the childrenswear line delivers the same level of quality found in all of the brand’s collections.

According to the brand’s website, Thom Browne childrenswear maintains the same attention to detail in tailoring, knitwear, and footwear as seen in the adult collections. The line features essential items from the Thom Browne adult wardrobe, such as the medium grey super 120s wool twill suit, chesterfield overcoat with a velvet top collar, classic cardigan with four-bar detailing, and the white classic Oxford shirt. Additionally, the collection includes “Friday uniform” pieces like the navy super 120s twill sport coat with gold buttons and the university stripe grosgrain armband shirt with a round collar. Exploring different styles, the line also offers classic sweats with four-bar design in loopback jersey, as well as down archetypes with a ripstop vest and puffer jacket.

In terms of pricing, Thom Browne childrenswear ranges from $265 to $428 for shirts, $300 to $315 for long and short-sleeved t-shirts, $640 to $905 for knits, $1,074 to $1,550 for outerwear, $591 to $785 for skirts and pants, $420 to $520 for footwear, and tailoring starting at $1,074.

The highly anticipated debut of the childrenswear line took place during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, where Thom Browne showcased a captivating short film directed by Cass Bird. The film featured a group of young kids dressed in Thom Browne ensembles, playfully mimicking an office work environment. Seated at identical desks and typing on identical typewriters, the children created a whimsical atmosphere.

Thom Browne described the message conveyed by the film as unique and representative of his brand identity. He expressed the belief that now is the perfect time to introduce childrenswear, as the collection allows each individual to shine. The designer is confident that the line will bring a smile to people’s faces.

Thom Browne childrenswear is now available on the brand’s e-commerce platform, offering parents the opportunity to dress their children in stylish, miniaturized versions of Thom Browne’s iconic designs.
