Chanel’s iconic fragrance, Bleu de Chanel, has enlisted the renowned French American actor, Timothée Chalamet, to represent its captivating essence. The news was unveiled by both Chalamet and the prestigious French fashion house on their respective Instagram accounts on the evening of May 15.

Building anticipation, the 27-year-old star had previously hinted at the collaboration on his own Instagram page, sharing a mysterious post featuring Chanel’s CC logo and the enigmatic caption “CC X TC OTW,” teasing the forthcoming announcement.

Following the social media reveal, Chalamet treated his fans to a series of campaign images on Instagram, showcasing the ambiance of Bleu de Chanel, all skillfully captured by Italian American photographer Mario Sorrenti. In these striking visuals, Chalamet effortlessly exudes style while donning a neutral t-shirt, a singlet, and a denim jacket. The timeless black-and-white aesthetics, adorned with blue filters, pay homage to the fragrance’s signature dark blue bottle.

Originally introduced in 2010 by renowned perfumer Jacques Polge, Bleu de Chanel is a captivating scent that blends woody and citrusy accords. With a harmonious combination of grapefruit, lemon, pink pepper, ginger, vetiver, and incense notes, this fragrance has become a true icon in the perfume world.

Chalamet is now part of a talented cohort of rising stars who have embraced the role of Chanel brand ambassadors. Earlier this year, the globally recognized K-pop artist Minji was announced as the brand’s fashion ambassador in February. In January, Jennie from Blackpink, along with actresses Amandla Stenberg and Margaret Qualley, took center stage in the enchanting Coco Crush jewelry campaign. Notably, Lily-Rose Depp has been an integral part of Chanel’s fashion and beauty campaigns since 2015, leaving an indelible mark in the industry.
